FRAUDULENT RECRUITING
ACTIVITIES DISCLAIMER

HOPE Clinic is aware of fraudulent recruiting scams being attempted by individuals and/or organizations falsely representing themselves as HOPE Clinic recruiters. This type of fraud tends to occur through online services including fake websites, social media accounts, online job boards, or unsolicited employment opportunities email. The aim of this type of fraud is to obtain personal information or money. Company names and logos are used to try to convey authenticity. In some instances, the person may ask candidates to pay a fee to process their application, pay for equipment, or share bank account information in order to receive a gift.

HOPE Clinic will never ask for:

• Financial information of any kind or for any payment during the job application process;
• Personal information such as passport number, bank account number, or social security number during the interview process;
• You to receive and ship packages or goods.

Our recruitment process takes place by phone, via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or in person. Any emails from HOPE Clinic recruiters will come from an @hopechc.org email address or from systemmessage@paycomonline.com. We urge everyone to exercise caution and suspend or cease communication if something feels off about your interactions. If you are unsure of the legitimacy of a communication you have received, please reach out to HR@hopechc.org.

If you believe you were a victim of such a recruitment scam, we encourage you to contact your local authorities. You also have the option to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. HOPE Clinic is not responsible for any claims, losses, damages, or expenses resulting from scammers.
