DENTAL SERVICES

Available at: Alief & West

A smile can be understood across all cultures and here at HOPE Clinic, we want to make sure your smile shines as brightly as possible!  We work hard to make visiting the dentist as comfortable as possible and offer laughing gas for those seeking treatment under nitrous oxide sedation. Translation services are also available.

Dental Exams

Dental examinations are offered for both adults and children.  Children should visit the dentist at 6 months old or as soon as the first tooth erupts, whichever comes first.  Regular dental exams are key to preventing the need for complex and costly dental treatments.

Limited Exams

Dental emergencies can be painful.  HOPE clinic offers limited exams for specific areas of pain or concern.

Cleanings

Dental cleanings are recommended at least every 6 months for healthy teeth.  HOPE clinic offers regular cleanings as well as deep cleanings for those diagnosed with gum disease.

Fillings

HOPE clinic offers white tooth-colored fillings to restore holes or cavities in teeth.  Metal or silver-colored fillings are not available at HOPE clinic.

Extractions

Our dental clinic performs both simple and surgical extractions.  Extraction of erupted wisdom teeth is available, but complex wisdom tooth removal is not offered at our clinic and can be referred to a specialist.

Sealants

Sealants are a non-invasive way to prevent cavities by covering fissures or pits that naturally form in teeth.  No needles or drills are needed to place sealants.

Pediatric Dental Services

When children get cavities on their baby teeth, it is important to seek treatment to prevent spread of bacteria and possible damage to permanent teeth.  HOPE clinic offers baby fillings, baby root canals, stainless steel crowns, and extractions for children.  Laughing gas is available to help keep your child comfortable.  IV sedation is not available and if needed, will be referred out to a specialist.

Services Not Offered

Currently, our clinic does not offer adult root canals, braces, teeth whitening, adult crowns or veneers, dentures or implants.  Should these services be needed, a referral can be issued.
