Jinan Amra is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Florida and Texas. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Florida in 2009.
Jinan speaks English, Spanish and Arabic and maintains a general practice working mainly with adults and families. In her practice she uses techniques from various models, such as Solution Focused Therapy, CBT, and Narrative Therapy, though she identifies as a brief systemic solution oriented therapist. Jinan is intensely interested in a lifelong learning and continuing to master the healing arts of therapy. She is also curious about people, their strengths, their struggles and their resources.
Jinan’s strength as a therapist is in being empathetic and intuitively sensitive to her clients’ needs. She approaches each client with warmth and a non-judgmental style, preferring to see each person and situation as unique. Jinan likes to work collaboratively with her clients so together they discuss goals and needs and then develop treatment plans accordingly.
