HOPE Clinic

is a private, not for profit community-based health center located in Houston. Lead by the CEO, Dr. Andrea Caracostis, and the Medical Director, Dr. Richard Andrews, HOPE Clinic has a multicultural and multilingual professional staff of twenty one .

• Dr. Andrea Caracostis, MD, MPH, has a long track record of dedication to special populations and to community health center work; she is a medical doctor with a masters in public health. She has 10 years experience working with Community and Migrant Health Centers with special populations. She has worked as a provider in a 330 funded Migrant Health Center (MHC) and as a consultant to Migrant Clinicians Network providing technical assistance to Community Health Centers around the country. She has been active in the Bureau of Primary Health Care’s Health Disparities Collaborative and a member of many national health care advisory committees. Dr. Caracostis is currently the Chief Executive Director of HOPE Clinic that has recently received the designation of Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike.
• Dr. Richard Andrews, MD, MPH, is a graduate of the University of Connecticut Medical School, completed his residency in family practice at Georgetown University and has a MPH from Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health. Dr. Andrews has over twenty years of experience in primary care and has dedicated his career to working in community health centers, both as a medical director and staff physician.
